Okay, we are pretty used to having groups in house who are having fun. Vacation, lazy river - how could you not? But we think repear group Maui Divers wins the prize for not only having the most fun, but making it most fun for us to watch!!

So we all know octopuses are super intelligent - likely more intelligent than we are😃) But this is the first time I have ever seen one turn this beautiful shade of turquoise! Or then again, since they have been further underwater, the colors weren't as noticeable. But WOW!! The small tidal pool at Clark's never fails to delight!!

We are absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news with you: Oral's back surgery was a complete success! He is now on the road to recovery, and we are incredibly optimistic about his future without the pain he has endured for so long.
We are writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude for your generous pledge. Your commitment was instrumental in our decision to move forward with urgency.
As you may know, we encountered some unexpected technical issues with our bank's payment portal, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused. We know some of you tried multiple times to contribute, and we are very sorry for the hassle.
To ensure there were absolutely no delays in getting Oral the care he needed, Clark's Cay fronted the full cost of the procedure and all associated expenses immediately. This allowed us to secure everything without hesitation, including an Airbnb near the hospital for two weeks. This was essential for Oral and his wife to have a safe and comfortable place to stay during the surgery and initial recovery period, as they live several hours away on difficult roads and do not have personal transportation.
Your generosity was truly inspiring. While we couldn’t match every dollar, we started by matching a significant portion of the total donations. This boosted our fundraising efforts and brought us closer to achieving our objective. Your support is a testament to the power of our community, and we are so grateful for every contribution.
We're happy to report that we have worked closely with the bank to resolve all issues, and the payment portal is now fully functional. A personal thank-you message from Oral himself will be sent out to everyone later this week!
